   Butch I just wanted to let you know that  the extra flint that you sent me.. sure does knap good. I love the heat treaded flint you sent me. I was wondering where did you get the flint and did you heat treat it. I sure would like to have some more and would be willing to pay you for it. Tom Sink

   hi tom, glad you liked the flint. i do sell flint and i attend approx. 20-25 knap-ins each year. many knappers know me and those that do will vouch for my selling quality flint.  in fact, i guarantee everything i sell, and will make it right with you if you are not happy with what you receive. if in doubt, just put a post on paleo planet asking about my creditbilty and the quality of my flint. many members have bought all kinds of rock from me. most of what i sell is $2.50 a pound, plus shipping. i do have a few varieties that run a little more. i ship flat rate and always purchase a tracking number. give me a call and we can discuss what you might need. thx---butch-----ph#660-287-5725

   Hey everyone,
    As usual I'm running behind on getting the summer knap-in flyer out. Just thought I would send out a note to you all that the dates have been set for July 8th-11th. It will be a lot busier knap-in this year as the Hairy Mosquito's store is now open.
    There will be a flea market style event going on the same weekend there for artists and crafters with hand made goods. I think the combination together will make for a great knap-in.
    As always there are no fees for the flint-knappers, and we will do our best to accommodate for camping. Dale Cannon and his band Loose Cannon will be playing on Saturday night, and of course OOGA BOOGA ceremony afterwards!
    Looking forward to another great knap-in!  Mark the dates on your calendars. I'll be getting the flyers out this next week.
